Matt, in his role as Interim Assistant Vice President, serves on the executive leadership team for the Office of Student Life.  Matt oversees student involvement initiatives, Social Entrepreneurship program, sororities and fraternities, student philanthropy, diversity and inclusion initiatives, Ohio Union events, graduate programming and Student Life's portion of new student orientation. Matt earned bachelor's degrees in psychology and linguistics from the College of William & Mary and both an MA and a PhD in higher education and student affairs from Ohio State. He has worked in Student Life at Ohio State since 1997.

 

 

Felix Alonso

Felix oversees and directs student philanthropy initiatives for the university. He also oversees BuckeyeThon, a student-driven philanthropic organization which coordinates Ohio State's Dance Marathon and has raised over $6.5M for hematology/oncology department at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Felix began his career at Ohio State in 2000 as director of student programs for the Alumni Association and later served as associate director for the Student Life Multicultural Center. He holds a BA in Spanish from Ohio State and a MEd in higher education and student affairs administration from the University of Vermont.

Kim leads the sorority and fraternity life team, providing strategic leadership to the day to day operations of the Ohio State sorority and fraternity community. She received her BFA from Northern Michigan University, an MSEd in College Student Development and Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and an EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Vermont. Kim joined Ohio State in November 2017 after 11 years at the University of Vermont.

 

Jeff Pelletier

Jeff provides leadership and vision for all aspects of Ohio Union Operations and Events and oversees the daily operation of the Ohio Union, including collaboration with over 20 Student Life and university departments housed in the Ohio Union. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Boston College, 1994), a master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs (Ohio State, 2004) and a master’s in Business Operational Excellence (Ohio State, 2014). He served his professional association, ACUI, as its 90th President, the third Ohio State staff member to serve the association in this capacity. Jeff spent five years as an active duty officer in the US Navy working in the submarine and intelligence communities. He enjoys curling at the Columbus Curling Club, not too far from his home in Clintonville.

 

Todd Suddeth, PhD

Todd provides administrative leadership for Student Life’s Multicultural Center, including assessment of student needs and developing policies, objectives, programs and opportunities to serve them. Previously, he served as the Program Director of the Todd A. Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male at Ohio State. His research interests include career development with a specific focus on the influence of aspiration and possible selves on career decision-making and the successful transition of students from high school to college.

Todd received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Akron, an MA in Public Affairs and a PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Ohio State.
