Carla works to gain support for Student Life programs and services through fundraising efforts. With more than 20 years of non-profit fundraising experience, including as the campaign advisor for United Way of Central Ohio’s record-breaking $50 million campaign, Carla has a career-long track record of priority-directed success, cultivation of community partnerships and advancement of engagement opportunities for both current and prospective supporters. 

Carla has extensive experience in corporate relations, special events and executive support, from both the non-profit and the business side. Her work helped secure the future of the Columbus Cancer Clinic and the largest-ever gift to Wilberforce University. A relationship-focused professional, Carla’s marketing, executive and high-end retail experience at Saks Fifth Avenue Chicago are complemented by her social entrepreneurial mindset and community-centered approach.
