• Title: Director of Recreational Sports

Andre joined Ohio State and the Office of Student Life’s Department of Recreational Sports in August of 2021. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role as he has served as a higher education professional for 20 years. Recreational Sports at The Ohio State University has a storied history, serving the Ohio State community for nearly 110 years. Andre is only the eighth director since the program began in 1913. Most recently serving as the Executive Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Alabama, Andre brings to Recreational Sports and the Office of Student Life visionary leadership, executive oversight and strategic direction for a comprehensive campus recreation program with values in student-staff development, progressive facility planning, inclusive programing and coordination of essential services.

Andre holds an MS in Physical Education-Pedagogy from Eastern Michigan University and a BS in Recreation Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
