Dr. McDaniel is an accomplished student affairs practitioner, scholar and researcher who also has background as an educator and faculty member. Her administrative experience includes organizational and operational effectiveness strategies, outcome-focused learning and development practices and multi-level strategic planning efforts. She is a proven collaborator with significant experience developing assessment and evaluation strategies that inform data-driven decisions and advance student-centric policies, practices and services. Dr. McDaniel is a three-time Buckeye, earning bachelor’s, master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Sociology from The Ohio State University and was a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University.
Dr. McDaniel supports the Student Life career team, the Center for the Study of Student Life, the Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), graduate and professional student programs and services and programs that advance students’ digital engagement.
