Anne McDaniel, PhD

Dr. McDaniel is an accomplished student affairs practitioner, scholar and researcher who also has background as an educator and faculty member. Her administrative experience includes organizational and operational effectiveness strategies, outcome-focused learning and development practices and multi-level strategic planning efforts. She is a proven collaborator with significant experience developing assessment and evaluation strategies that inform data-driven decisions and advance student-centric policies, practices and services. Dr. McDaniel is a three-time Buckeye, earning bachelor’s, master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Sociology from The Ohio State University and was a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University.

Dr. McDaniel supports the Student Life’s strategy framework and resulting strategic plans, metrics and goals as well as Buckeye Careers, the Center for the Study of Student Life, the Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), the Scarlet and Gray Advantage learning community and programs that advance students’ digital engagement.
