Dave, in his role as Chief Financial Officer, serves on the executive leadership team and oversees all financial operations for the Office of Student Life. Dave earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Ohio State. Dave joined the Student Life team in 2002, bringing experience from prior positions in the Office of Business and Finance at Ohio State, Ernst & Young, Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Centura Health.

Maureen Cahill

Maureen Cahill Director, Student Health Insurance

Maureen oversees Ohio State's Student Health Benefits programs to ensure students have affordable options available to access quality healthcare providers. She and her team work closely with students and their families, university departments and insurance plan administrators to create a seamless experience from enrollment management to claims payment. The Student Health Insurance office offers both comprehensive coverage for students and their dependents and a supplemental program called Wilce Care for students who have major medical coverage through their parent's plans or other sources. Maureen is a member of the American College Health Association. She holds a BS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Ohio State. Maureen joined the Student Health Insurance staff as Assistant Director in the fall of 2012, after working for the OSU Health Plan since 2000.

Donna Lewis

Donna Lewis Director, Financial Management

Donna leads all aspects of the annual budget process for the Office of Student Life. She has financial oversight of short- and long-term planning , capital planning and forecasting. She also oversees Student Life Payroll and Accounting areas. Donna holds a BS in Accounting from Franklin University and has worked for Ohio State since 2004.

Karen Narwicz

Karen Narwicz Director of Conference and Business Development

Karen oversees and directs high-impact corporate, university, and conference events for the Ohio Union while ensuring an extraordinary client experience. She is the liaison to industry influencers and key strategic partners while leading the sales operations for Student Life and its facilities. Through business development, Karen builds relationships with prospective and existing clients on a daily basis.

Before joining the Student Life staff in 2009, she specialized in event sales management, marketing, and medical sales within many successful corporate companies in Columbus. Karen earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio State and will always be a Buckeye for life!

Jeff Pelletier

Jeff Pelletier Director, Ohio Union Operations and Events

Jeff provides leadership and vision for all aspects of Ohio Union Operations and Events and oversees the daily operation of the Ohio Union, including collaboration with over 20 Student Life and university departments housed in the Ohio Union. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Boston College, 1994), a master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs (Ohio State, 2004) and a master’s in Business Operational Excellence (Ohio State, 2014). He served his professional association, ACUI, as its 90th President, the third Ohio State staff member to serve the association in this capacity. Jeff spent five years as an active duty officer in the US Navy working in the submarine and intelligence communities. He enjoys curling at the Columbus Curling Club, not too far from his home in Clintonville.


Diane Plumly

Diane Plumly Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Student Life

Diane advises the Senior Vice President for Student Life and Student Life leadership on various issues related to college student health with focus on the impact of the Affordable Care Act and state healthcare reform initiatives. Diane is a member of several national groups representing university student medical insurance and a nationally recognized expert on the subject. She holds a BS in Allied Medical Professions, and a MA in Public Administration from Ohio State. She has been a staff member since 1983, having served in several capacities including director of Student Health Insurance, and associate director of Student Health Services.
