Sophia Markley

• Title: SEEDs Cohort Member

Sophia is a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and a BS in Public Policy Analysis on the Pre-Law track. She serves as President of the Smith-Steeb Community Council Executive Board and is an Arts and Sciences Dean’s Student Advisory Board ASSC Representative. Sophia is also a Law and Society Scholar who is on the Service and Advocacy Committee and Leadership Mentorship Committee and is currently researching under Professor Kennedy. Furthermore, Sophia is a member of the Undergraduate Student Government on the Research Committee and has previously been a Civil Discourse Fellow who focused on facilitating discussion on foreign aid responsibilities of developed countries. Sophia joined SEEDs due to a desire to give back to the Buckeye community and help others grow and learn as much as she has from the Ohio State community.
