Your Student Life: Your Wellness Journey (Grad/Prof)

October 15, 2026

Balancing advanced coursework, research deadlines, teaching responsibilities, clinical duties, on top of personal and/or familial commitments, can make self-care feel like an unattainable luxury. When your schedule is packed, it is natural to push your own needs to the back burner, but maintaining your personal well-being is fundamental to your academic endurance, professional development and long-term success. The university recognizes that graduate and professional life presents unique demands, which is why they support the Student Wellness Center in promoting the Wellness Assessment. The Wellness Assessment is a brief, evidence-informed tool that provides you with a comprehensive understanding of your holistic well-being based on our Ten Dimensions of Wellness model.

By taking less than 15-minutes to complete this assessment, you will receive immediate and personalized feedback on current habits, strengths and potential areas for growth across all ten dimensions. You will also receive insights on tailored campus resources that match your specific needs—from financial coaching and career support to digital wellness tools and stress management services. Beyond your personal growth, participating in the assessment provides essential, anonymized data that helps the university better understand the unique challenges faced by graduate and professional students. Your feedback directly informs future campus resource allocation, policy adjustments and targeted wellness initiatives tailored to your population.

Investing fifteen minutes in yourself this October offers both immediate and long-term dividends for your academic journey. As an added incentive, all students who complete the Wellness Assessment during October are automatically entered into the Student Wellness Center’s fall giveaway, featuring prizes such as BuckID Cash, gift cards, AirPods, a home cinema kit and more. You can take the assessment today at go.osu.edu/WA and gain valuable personal insights, help shape university support systems and potentially walk away with any of our incentives that will be given away this fall.
