Your Student Life: What's New on the Menu (Grad/Prof)

August 18, 2026

Whether you're balancing coursework, research, teaching responsibilities, clinical rotations or life off campus, Ohio State Dining has several new dining options, updated spaces and added conveniences designed to make finding a meal on campus easier.

Blenz Arrives on Campus

One of the biggest additions this semester is Blenz, now available at both Sloopy's in the Ohio Union and Marketplace on Neil. If you're looking for a quick breakfast, smoothie or açaí bowl between classes, labs or meetings, this new option is worth adding to your routine.

New Food at Sloopy's Diner

Sloopy's Diner in the Ohio Union still offers the breakfast favorites and diner classics you know and love, but there's something new on the menu as well.

The location now features Hellenic Greek Kitchen, serving authentic Greek and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Order ahead through Grubhub for pickup or have your meal delivered by a food delivery robot.

More Boba, More Breakfast

Looking for a new beverage option? Boba tea is now available at Courtside Café, Hamilton Café and Postle Café, joining existing offerings at KSA Café and Crane Café.

For those early mornings on campus, Espress-OH in the Ohio Union now offers build-your-own hot breakfast sandwiches, making it easier to grab a customized breakfast on the go.

Sweet Treats and New Favorites

Der Dutchman bakery favorites are now available at locations across campus.

At Traditions at Morrill, you'll also find freshly made bone-in chicken wings with your choice of wet sauces or dry rubs. While you're there, don't overlook one of campus dining's hidden gems: the pizza. Both wings and pizza are available for dine-in, carryout and delivery through Grubhub.

Refreshed Spaces for Studying and Gathering

Several dining locations received updates this year.

Marketplace on Neil now includes additional seating, more outlets for charging devices and a brighter atmosphere for studying or meeting with classmates and colleagues.

McPherson Café and Connecting Grounds also feature refreshed furniture and expanded seating, creating more comfortable spaces to work, meet or take a break between commitments.

Meal Swipes Go Further

If you have a dining plan, you can now exchange a meal swipe for $9 in value at retail dining locations, providing additional flexibility when purchasing meals and snacks across campus.

Continuous Service at Traditions

Traditions at Kennedy and Traditions at Morrill now offer continuous service between 3 and 4 p.m., eliminating the afternoon gap between meal periods and providing more flexibility for busy schedules.

Be sure to check dining hours online or through Grubhub, as some locations have updated schedules this semester.

Expanded Rover Delivery

Need food delivered? Ohio State Dining now has 130 food delivery rovers operating across campus, making it easier than ever to have meals delivered to your location.

Away Game Saturdays

On away football game Saturdays, food trucks will be stationed at the North Clocktower:

  • Pitabilities: Noon to 4 p.m.
  • Kubido: 4 to 8 p.m.

Dining plans can be used at both food trucks.

Limited-Time Menu Offerings

Be on the lookout for new menu items from September 21 through December 6 at cafés and marketplaces across campus. Dining Services will refresh menus three times during the semester, with new offerings arriving on September 21, October 19 and November 10.
