Your Student Life: Drop in Workshops

March 24, 2026

Looking for a quick way to boost your mental health without a big time commitment? Student Life Counseling and Consultation Service Drop-In Workshops are here for you, and they’re free for all students.

Why check them out?

  • No sign-up needed—just show up when it works for you (though adding it to your calendar is smart!).
  • Perfect if you want to learn about wellness topics but don’t have time for ongoing therapy.
  • Already seeing a therapist? These workshops can be a great add-on! For example, join Building Mastery to learn DBT skills and then talk about how they fit your life in your next session.

What are some of the topics?

  • Current weekly topics include “Stress and Anxiety 101,” “Thriving in a Complex World: Coping with Current Events,” “Food Sleep and Exercise Strategies for Mental Health” and several others.
  • You can find a list and schedule at go.osu.edu/ccsworkshops.

What’s offered?

  • A mix of in-person and virtual sessions via CarmenZoom.
  • Flexible days and times to fit your schedule.
  • Both info-based and hands-on workshops—so there’s something for everyone.

Take an hour for yourself, learn something new, and leave with tools you can use right away. Drop in and see what works for you!
