At last week’s Scarlet and Great Gathering, we shared some of the important dates coming up. We had slides on the screen with a list, but in case they went by too fast, and you didn’t memorize them or get a picture, I thought it might be helpful to share the information with you in Today’s Update.  

• University Holidays: OFFICES CLOSED

• B1G Championship Game: Dec. 2 (Indianapolis, Indiana)
  

• Commencement Eve Candlelight Ceremony, Thursday, Dec. 14 @ 6 p.m. (Longaberger Alumni House)

• Autumn Commencement: Sunday, Dec. 17 @ 2 p.m. (Jerome Schottenstein Center)
  

• First day of spring semester: Monday, Jan. 8
  

• College Football Playoff National Championship Game: Monday, Jan. 8 (Houston, Texas)
  

• Student Life Belonging and Well-being Summit: Wednesday, January 17
  

• Spring Scarlet and Great Gatherings @ 9:30 a.m. (Ohio Union) and 2 p.m. (RPAC) 

• • Thursday, Feb. 8 
  • Wednesday, Apr. 10 

 
Obviously, this is just a high-level overview of some of the larger events, so if you have others that you would like to have listed in a future “Save the Date” Today’s Update, please let me know and we can get that added.
