Today's Update: Wednesday, January 10, 2024

January 10, 2024

Dear Student Life team,

What is it like for you as a Student Life team member? How do you engage with your colleagues? How do you engage with health and well-being resources available through Ohio State?

These are important questions, and your answers will help make Student Life even more Scarlet and Great. That’s why we are about to launch the Student Life Engagement Survey.

The survey will open tomorrow and will be administered by the Center for the Study of Student Life. We’ll use the answers to refine and hone our approach to staff engagement.

Hopefully you know our Student Life tagline is Engage. Learn. Thrive. We often use it in relation to the student experience, but it also is important for our team members. The results of this survey will help us build community and support your professional growth.

Tomorrow, you will get an email from Dr. Tanisha L. Jenkins, Associate Vice President for Belonging and Inclusion, with a Qualtrics link to the Engagement Survey. It won’t take long, 10 minutes or less, and your answers are completely anonymous. The contact information we are using to send you the survey will not be recorded by Qualtrics and will not be linked to your responses. You have until 5 p.m. on Friday, February 2, to submit your answers to the survey.

In the meantime, you can read more about the survey and why it is important on the Student Life Intranet at go.osu.edu/slsurveyfaq

Thank you in advance for taking part in this important initiative. Your voice matters and is very important in setting our course for a Scarlet and Greater future.
