Today's Update: Tuesday, January 24, 2023
January 24, 2023
Dear Student Life team,
In follow-up to the university message that just came out, I wanted to share a few reminders for the Student Life team.
First I want to acknowledge our team members, and others across Ohio State’s campuses, whose in-person work during inclement weather enables us to maintain operations that are critical to a medical and residential institution. I can’t thank you all enough for your hard work and dedication to serving students.
Next, I urge everyone to consider your safety first as you are planning for your day tomorrow. If you must physically be at work, please travel as safely as possible and do not rush. Connect with your supervisor if you have concerns or additional needs.
While we certainly need to ensure uninterrupted support and service to students, for those who are able to work remotely with minimal impacts to service, you should consider doing so. Not only does this help keep as many of us off the roads as possible, it also helps minimize extra work for our facilities teams who will need to first address weather-related concerns.
As always, thank you all for your Scarlet and Great work and dedication. Stay safe and warm!
