Today's Update: Scarlet and Great Service Awards

Dear Student Life team,

I hope you know how much I value every member of our Student Life team. Even on a team of all-stars, there are a few Hall of Famers who sometimes stand out in a crowd.  

Last year, we added Service Awards to our Years of Service recognition program to honor those who have done above and beyond (or perhaps it’s “above, above and beyond!”) in service to our students and each other.  

This year we’re expanding the categories to include areas such as Innovation and Resilience.  Here is the full list (descriptions are provided at the nomination form link below): 

• Excellence in Leadership Award  

• Culture Commitment Champion Award 

• Outstanding Campus Partner Award 

• Excellence in Initiative Award 

• Innovation Award 

• Change Agent Award 

• Resilience Award 

If you would like to nominate a colleague for any of these awards, please complete the nomination form found at this link. The nomination period will remain open until Friday, November 20, at noon.  

The awards will be handed out at the Scarlet and Great Gathering Years of Service and Awards Ceremony on Monday, February 1, at 9:30 a.m. in the Ohio Union’s Performance Hall.
