Today's Update: High Five Friday
June 26, 2026
Dear Student Life team,
Happy High Five Friday!
High Five to Re’Nesha Weston and Morgan Vibbert for meeting with colleagues from UNLV, where they are in the early stages of building out an essential needs space on their campus. Re’Nesha and Morgan shared our experiences with the Monda Student Resource Center to help them with their project.
Jarrode Davis gets a High Five for agreeing to put his amazing trivia hosting skills to good use for the Campus Activism and Event Engagement Team’s recent gathering. The team appreciated putting their space standard knowledge to use while having fun!
A colleague wanted to make sure Robin Bolterman of Student Life Technology Services received a well-deserved High Five for “always being so supportive, helpful and always coming to the rescue when called upon!”
High Fives to Quantazia Merchant, Max Rosenberg and Leah Wheeler of Housing and Residence Education (HRE) for taking a group of students to the recent National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) annual student leadership conference at Texas A&M University. The students represented Ohio State well, connected with peers across the country and attended educational sessions. I also hear they’ve brought back lots of ideas for the upcoming year.
Max Rosenberg from the HRE team gets another High Five, thanks to a wonderful note I received from an HRE colleague, who said in part, “As issues arise, Max is quick to identify a solution, take action, and then look for ways in which to avoid this situation from becoming an issue in the future. He does not hesitate to act, and he does so in a thoughtful and solutions-oriented manner that is consistent with our processes and protocols.”
No High Five message next week because of the Independence Day holiday, but, of course, have a Scarlet and Great weekend and Fourth of July!
