Dear Student Life team,
Happy High Five Friday.
Several High Fives this week come from strong collaborations among team members across Student Life and the university.
High Fives to Kierra Hampton of Marketing and Jon Plante of Technology Services for their collaboration on two recent webpage projects for the Center for the Student of Student Life. They all worked together to create pages that are accessible. One of the pages is on the Intranet and will be very helpful for team members interested in using Qualtrics.
High Five to Hannah Warner of Financial Management for her thoughtfulness and care in helping others understand their budgets. “She is a great partner,” says a colleague.
Leah Hall of Human Resources gets a High Five for, as a colleague put it, “always working so fast to get quick answers to her partners’ questions.”
High Fives to the Leadership and Community Engagement team of Kristen Rupert Davis, Kristen Van Gundy, Meagen Rinard and Justin Khol for their fantastic presentation at the recent University Career Services Committee (UCSC) Retreat. Buckeye Careers says, “The overview of their programs and services was both insightful and inspiring. With many new career services professionals joining Ohio State over the past two years, their presentation provided valuable context that will help us better understand and integrate LCE’s offerings into our work.”
Mollie Workman in Buckeye Careers gets a High Five for handling a last-minute request for a presentation to a Human Resources group about Handshake. One of the leaders of the HR team wrote to her after the event, “Even with approximately ZERO notice, you did such a fabulous job! We really appreciate you sharing your time and expertise with us... You are always so kind and knowledgeable.”
High Five to Jordan Rutherford from Events and Conferences for winning a “severe weather trivia challenge” that was part of a recent Risk and Emergency Management presentation.
High Fives to Kelly Campbell and Lauralie Wilson of Student Health Insurance. They stepped up to help a colleague in Lincoln Tower who was having a medical issue. Their assistance and kindness was very much appreciated.
Have a Scarlet and Great weekend, and, because it’s always in style, Go Bucks!
