Dear Student Life team,
Happy High Five Friday.
I hope you’ve had a good Winter Break. We get started with a whole new semester next week!
I’ll start with High Fives to Lucy Hennon, Meagen Rinard and Kristen Rupert Davis for a very successful Buck-I-SERV. They oversaw more than 80 participants on 10 trips to three states, the District of Columbia and two other countries. High Fives as well to Student Life team members who were advisors, Zia Ahmed, Josh Bodnar, Kala Coyan-McClure, Alyson Erick,
High Five to Mollie Workman of Buckeye Careers. One of her career services partners paid tribute to her “exceptional efforts and dedication, as well as her collaborative spirit” during University Career Services Committee’s Year-End Breakfast, going on to say, “Mollie consistently goes above and beyond, demonstrating a remarkable work ethic and a genuine commitment to the well-being of Ohio State students. Mollie's unwavering helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and pleasant demeanor make her an absolute pleasure to work with.”
The service project at the Cotton Bowl was a huge success. Ohio State and University of Missouri joined forces to pack 25,000 pounds of apples to be distributed by the Tarrant Area Food Bank in north Texas. High Five to Tracy Stuck for organizing this amazing annual project, and to Morgan Hammonds for serving as Bowl Tour guide. High Fives as well to those who assisted beforehand, including Dave Wiseley, Tiffany Quattlebaum, Hannah Warner, Candyce Williams, Stacy Smith, Jen Cottrell, Kailee Bell, Dave Isaacs, Rachel Connors, John Link, Isabel Biasella, Travis Barnhart, Quentin Bouanna and Kellie Uhrig.

I hope you were able to have fun over break. Two of our departments obviously took a moment to enjoy each other.
Our Facilities team wants to give High Fives to Tom Reeves and Charity Martin-King for serving as DJs, and D'Arcy Oaks for being an “incredible roadie," at their end-of-year staff appreciation event. They had everyone on their feet doing the electric slide and Cupid shuffle!
Student Health Services seems to have had a good time over break as well. They held their annual “Winterfest Celebration” that includes an ugly sweater contest. High Five to the team, and to Monica Stewart for winning the contest in her gingerbread ensemble.
Have a Scarlet and Great Weekend and start of Spring Semester.
