Dear Student Life team,

Happy High Five Friday. 

I’ll start with a High Five to several people who helped create an outstanding booklet that was nearly a year in the making! High Fives to Travis Barnhart, Michelle Blackstone, Chrisse Edmunds, Erica Regan, Tori Rehr and Dave Isaacs.  

High Fives to a number of people who provided essential support to our students this week, including Troy Keller, Andrew Crow, Bridget Hildreth, George Owusu, Barb Kefalas, Xavier DeFreitas, Taylor Whittington, Paul O’Leary, Tom Novotny (Administration and Planning’s Environmental Health and Safety), Stacey Renker and Kim Pachell. Your empathy, patience and compassion are present every day but were even more evident this week.

Director Matthew D’Oyly and his team are grateful to those in Marketing, Strategic Communications and Technology Services for their work getting the site ready and the information posted. High Fives!  

High Five to Aisha Echols of Student Life Marketing for being selected as an exceptional staff member at Ohio State by the University Staff Advisory Committee. She’s “In the Spotlight” in the latest edition of USAC’s newsletter. High Five to Kristen Rupert Davis as well for nominating such a worthy recipient.  

This nomination comes from Student Conduct’s Kelly Smith, “I want to give a huge shout out to E’nid Patterson for helping me with a purchasing/WorkDay problem! I’d still be stuck with two boxes full of twenty pounds of unwanted, accidentally purchased lotion (don’t ask) if not for E’nid’s help!” She’s right, I won’t ask, and just say High Five!
