Dear Student Lilfe team, 

Happy High Five Friday.

High Fives to the Access Specialist team in Disability Services for reviewing 749 requests for housing accommodations for the upcoming academic year. The team spent countless hours giving each request careful consideration. This complex and nuanced process requires significant time, and the team maintained their professionalism and integrity as they navigated this process. 

High Five to BuckID's Spencer Litzenberger and the BuckID Student Assistant Team for printing and organizing more than 400 new Office of Student Life name tags to provide to team members before Move-In and the start of the new academic year.   

Annie Maxwell gets a High Five for helping distribute compost buckets to residence hall rooms in support of the university's zero waste goal. Annie helped deliver 170 buckets to individual rooms of Siebert Hall last week, even though she is busy helping plan Welcome Week activities for Ohio State students! 

High Fives to Student Life Marketing for getting the beginning of semester deliverables in. Their work is much appreciated in helping these initiatives be successful to best support our students.

A colleague wants a High Five to Daren Lehman, Aubrie Smith, Dave Isaacs and Josh Oconer for brainstorming a fast solution to a vexing challenge.   

High Five to Hunter Hartwig of Sorority and Fraternity Life. There was an item in Slice this morning about how he won the 2024 North American Interfraternity Conference Outstanding Advisor Award of Distinction and how Sorority and Fraternity Life received a number of other recent awards and honors. Congrats to all! 

Leah Hall of Human Resources gets a High Five from a colleague, who says, “Through our most recent personnel challenge, Leah was incredibly supportive, answering our many, many questions. Her expertise, along with the care and compassion she showed, is very much appreciated.”
