Happy High Five Friday! 

I always say it takes a village to roll out the Scarlet carpet to welcome our new and returning students each year. And, with the number of people who gave of their time to get the semester successfully started, it’s a big village! I am Scarlet and Grateful to each and every one of you!  

Move-In was another master class in logistics and organization. Nearly 16,000 students across four campuses yre now settled in their residence hall rooms, thanks to the massive effort led by Aubrie Smith, assisted by Jenn Miller. Huge High Fives to both of them, as well as everyone who helped coordinate the effort, including Zach Redecker, Jeff Pelletier, Bridgett Keener, Dave Reed, Hunter Hartwig, Kim Traverse, Erick Moyers, Kristen Rupert Davis, Brad Seaholm, Helios Yu and Tiffany Quattlebaum.

Convocation was amazing this year, and students were really enthusiastic about the new, energized version of this kickoff to the academic year.
