Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience

Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs 2020

Ohio State’s Office of Student Life has again been named one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. This is the sixth year in a row for this recognition.

With a focus on workplace diversity, staffing practices and work environment, the research uses a web-based survey approach to examine categories including family friendliness, salary/benefits and professional development opportunities.

“I have known for many years that the Ohio State Student Life team is one of the very best in the nation,” said Dr. Melissa Shivers, who became Ohio State’s Vice President for Student Life in January. “This honor confirms the talent and dedication of this amazing staff.”

More information is online.

The findings are published annually in Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine.
