Your Student Life: Career Closet Pop-Up

January 2, 2025

Having trouble finding clothes for your job, internship or interviews? Buckeye Careers is here to help you! The Career Closet offers free clothing in a variety of sizes and styles allowing you to mix and match or walk away with a complete outfit.

There will be a Career Closet Pop-Up on Tuesday, January 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Younkin Success Center. You’ll find free, gently-used, professional clothing, shoes and accessories; everything you’ll need to make a lasting impression at an interview, internship or networking event. All the items are free to all Ohio State students, including graduate and professional students.

All items are donated by community members. Items are gently used (along with many new items with tags attached) and in great condition. Inventory is constantly changing but we typically have a wide range of both men’s and women’s sizes available. For the best selection, arrive closer to 11 a.m. because clothes are first-come, first-serve.

Just bring your BuckID and a bag for your clothes.

There are restrooms nearby that you can use to try on items. And if you get home and find anything doesn’t fit or you change your mind, just gift them to a friend. The Career Closet will soon be part of the new Monda Student Resource Center set to open in the coming months.

If you or someone you know has items to donate to the Career Closet, contact Kristen Hill at hill.592@osu.edu. We are looking for both men's and women's clothing in all sizes that’s ready to wear and not needing repair. We are also looking for both men's and women's accessories (jewelry, shoes, bags, ties, belts, coats).

Thanks to Cardinal Health and Goodwill Columbus for their support of the January Career Closet Pop-up.
