Today's Update: Thursday, May 14
May 14, 2020
Dear Student Life Team,
I want to encourage to you to join me for our next Zoom information session tomorrow afternoon from 3:30-4:30 p.m. I know I’ve included reminders in my updates all this week, but it is important to me that you tune in. These are difficult times, and all of us are scattered in different locations. That disconnect makes it that much more crucial that I stay in touch with every single team member. I can’t see you personally, but I can do it virtually through my daily updates and tomorrow’s information session.
I owe it to you to keep you informed, answer your questions about decisions being made and those still under consideration, as well as the factors and thoughts going into those discussions. It’s part of my promise to you to communicate as thoroughly and in as much detail as possible.
As I’ve said before, communication is important to me. And, based on what I heard at the Listening Sessions, it’s important to you, too. One of the themes I heard in those sessions was a desire for more information and more background on how and why decisions are made. That’s what I try to do with these updates, and what tomorrow’s Zoom session is all about.
There is still time to send questions for tomorrow’s session to firstname.lastname@example.org, but get them in before the end of the day today. There will be too many people on the Zoom call to take questions “live,” but if you send in what you’d like to know today I will do my best to answer.
Here is the information you’ll need to join the Zoom session tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.

We are all in this together, but our combined strength and dedication is what makes this team Scarlet and Great!
