Dear Student Life team, 

As you know, I am a big believer in encouraging you to unwind, re-charge and spend time with loved ones during break times. I am grateful that, once again, President Johnson has announced an academic recess for December 27-30, 2022.

I know the Office of Student Life is a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week operation; however, we will do all we can to limit the number of critical staff members who will need to work on those days, either in-person or remotely. Members of the Executive Leadership Team are working now with directors to determine critical staffing needs. Each work unit’s leadership will share plans and next steps by the end of the day next Monday (November 28, 2022).

I am so Scarlet and Grateful to be a part of this amazing team, and I am wishing you a holiday season that brings you and your loved ones much joy!
