Happy High Five Friday.

I want to start with High Fives to everyone who attended or watched online this week’s Scarlet and Great Gatherings. As I said during the sessions, I love bringing our team together, sharing information, snacks and prizes!

High Fives to everyone who wrote, or received, a colleague High Five on the notecards we handed out at both Gatherings.

High Five to Hannah Warner who took home extra treats for her son after the Gathering. As she put it, “My little Buckeye loved his buckeye from campus.” Our Gatherings are fun for everyone, big and small!

In case you missed our Gatherings, you can watch a video of the morning session

We shared High Fives at both sessions, so you can see some of them on the video. A number of the High Fives people offered were for entire teams, including Student Life Technology Services, Buckeye Careers, the building automation team, Student Health Services including the Dental Clinic and Pharmacy team, Catering, Dining Maintenance and all our unit’s executive assistants. High Fives as well to everyone sharing the love with their colleagues around Student Life.

High Fives to Ryan Lovell, Beth Ullum, Noah Gilbert and all of the Parent and Family Relations team and those who helped make Parent and Family Weekend O-mazing.

High Fives to Donovan Golich and Dr. Kristen Rupert Davis for assisting a Toledo student in need before the game during Parents and Family Weekend.  They really showed compassionate concern and care and helped the student get the medical attention and assistance they needed.

Dr. Matt Couch, Tonya Dawson, Krystal Vielman, the Student Activities staff and OUAB each get High Fives for an incredible OUAB Welcome Back Concert in the Schott.

High Fives to the people who helped Dining Services last weekend, including Jenny Osborn, Allen Quattlebaum, Tiffany Quattlebaum, Christy Blessing, Gabi Bockelman, D’Arcy Oaks, Rachel DeMooy, Ayeshia Pompey and Karl Cavin. Dining’s Zia Ahmed says, “These individuals go above and beyond to assist Dining Services during this time of the year. Every day is a gift. Many thanks to all the folks for spending some of their valuable gifts with the Dining team.”

A colleague nominates Center for Belonging and Social Change Graduate Teaching Assistant Jayden Messer for a High Five, who “dove headfirst into their first formal search committee experience and is such an awesome contributing member.” High Five, Jayden.

Have a Scarlet and Great weekend and Go Buckeyes!
