Dear Student Life team,

Happy High Five Friday!

I'm so excited that the NPHC Plaza is coming together. This week, the first of the monuments to the Divine Nine are being installed, getting ready for our Homecoming Weekend unveiling. High Fives to everyone helping make this amazing project a reality.

I want to offer a group High Five to the entire Buckeye Careers team and everyone who helped them put on a very successful Career and Internship Fair.

High Fives to the Student Health Services team members and interns for helping kick off this year’s mass flu vaccination program. In the first two evenings, 219 flu vaccines were administered to students. They got plenty of compliments including how efficient it was and how smoothly the process worked. High Fives to Josh Owen, Phil Anderson, Jason Goodman, Jim Robinson, Melissa Ames, Jessica Miller, Tork Barayan, Peggy Butauski, Kyle Muchmore, Dr. Adel Hanna, Dr. Sheila Westendorf, Debbie Ward, Diana Niu, Rachel Goldsborough, Ruowen Song, Ben LaBaw, Sara Peacock, Carrie Brunken, Christine Lee, Alyssa Kreider, Sierra Paul, Xiwen Xin and Skylar Forsberg.

Dining Services continues to be Scarlet and Grateful for the people helping out on weekends to fill in staffing gaps until they are up to full speed with student employees. High Fives to Dilna Cama, Rochelle Toth, Rachel DeMooy, Chris Antjas, Peter Hansen, Ayeshia Pompey, Toni Greenslade-Smith, Thyrone Henderson, Ryan Lovell, Tiffany Quattlebaum and Karl Cavin for helping this past weekend.

High Five to Danielle Brown in Housing and Residence Education for her work with the Stadium Scholarship and Alumnae Scholarship alumni societies. The leadership of both these groups have high praise for Danielle’s student support and her detailed and regular communications with alumni.

A colleague nominates Technology Services’ Robin Bolterman for a High Five for “literally always saving all of us every time we do something silly on our computers that makes it impossible to work. She is so kind and helpful and incredible at her job and she’s such an important member of our Student Life family.” I agree. High Five, Robin.

Don’t forget Monday is our next Scarlet and Great Gathering. I hope to see you either at 9:30 a.m. in the Ohio Union Performance Hall or at the RPAC Meetings Rooms at 2 p.m. If you can’t make it, the morning session will be streamed online at https://livestream.com/wosu/gathering2022

Have a Scarlet and Great weekend and Go Buckeyes!
