At a time where it feels like we are more disconnected and isolated than ever, it has never been more important to get connected and stay social with those closest to you. The Office of Student Life has developed opportunities, events and more to help you stay connected with your fellow Buckeyes!

MCC Student Cohort Groups

The Student Life Multicultural Center’s student cohort groups focus on creating a sense of belonging, well-being, the formation of meaningful relationships amongst peers, and expanding understandings of social responsibility and civic engagement. MCC cohorts meet virtually via Zoom throughout the week. Learn more

Student Activities Cohorts 

There are many leadership opportunities represented through Student Activities Leadership Cohorts. Our cohorts consist of students and offer unique opportunities to lead other students, plan large-scale events and gain valuable leadership skills. Learn more

Get Involved Consultations

Get Involved Consultations are now available for students looking to get involved or those interested in discovering different opportunities for involvement. Students can connect with a Student Org Success Coach for a 30-minute consultation and receive personalized recommendations based on their interests and aspirations. Learn more

Esports Community Nights

Are you a gamer looking to connect with the gaming community at Ohio State? Join Ohio State Esports and the student organization, Buckeye Gaming Collective for the first two Community Nights of the semester.

Mental Health Resources

Your mental health and wellbeing can impact your success as a student, and we want to help you be well and thrive. At Ohio State there are many resources available to support your mental health. From videos to one-on-one consultations and the Ohio State: Wellness app, there is something available to help you 24/7. Check out the mental health resources available to you.

As we do all we can to promote a safe and healthy community, it sometimes feels like we talk a lot about all the things you can't do. There is still plenty to do on campus and in the Columbus area that is both fun and safe! Grab a Buckeye Bud and work through the #WeCanDoThis list of activities.

According to the CDC, we need to be social with other people. Being social promotes wellness. Human connection is essential for good health, especially when life presents situations that can cause increased anxiety and stress.
