Dr. Anne McDaniel to serve as Associate Vice President for Academic Partnership and Career Success

The Office of Student Life is pleased to announce that Dr. Anne McDaniel has accepted the role of Associate Vice President for Academic Partnership and Career Success. She will transition into the new role on March 29, 2021.

Dr. McDaniel is a current member of the Student Life team and serves as the Executive Director for the Center for the Study of Student Life, where she leads the research, assessment and evaluation efforts for our division. Dr. McDaniel is an accomplished student affairs practitioner, scholar and researcher who also has background as an educator and faculty member. Her administrative experience includes organizational and operational effectiveness strategies, outcome-focused learning and development practices and multi-level strategic planning efforts. She is a proven collaborator with significant experience developing assessment and evaluation strategies that inform data-driven decisions and advance student-centric policies, practices and services. Dr. McDaniel is a three-time Buckeye, earning bachelor’s, master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Sociology from The Ohio State University.

In her new role, Dr. McDaniel will support our career support team, the Center for the Study of Student Life, the Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), graduate and professional student programs and services and programs that advance students’ digital engagement.
