February 21, 2022

Dear Buckeye,

I hope you are staying safe and warm as our classic Ohio winter continues. During this time of year, you might be feeling the winter blues - I know I feel that way sometimes! If you are feeling down, I want you to know you aren't alone and that it is okay to reach out and ask for help, support or someone just to listen. Likewise, I want you to know that even if you aren’t struggling, it is okay for you to listen, ask others how they are doing, connect and talk with your fellow Buckeyes. Our care and compassion for one another will go a long way.

And if you are looking for support, the university has a variety of options to offer. Visit the Get Help page for a list of resources and services available across the university and in the community. The Counseling and Consultation Service website also has a helpful page that overviews the on-demand resources you can access.

Life can throw so many curveballs your way, but know that we’ve got your back and are cheering you on all the way.
