The 11th Annual R. Jack and Forest Lynn Biard Lecture in Cosmology and Astrophysics

Attend this hour lecture, "The Glass Universe: How the Ladies of the Harvard Observatory Took the Measure of the Stars", by Dava Sobel. She is a former New York Times science reporter, an author and co-author of many books, and currently writes for the on-line Aeon. Learn more about Harvard's female workforce in the 1870's and enjoy a reception afterwards.

Bring any of the items listed below for the Hospital's Bring Back Day!

  • Confidential document shredding truck
  • Drop off station for e-materials(computer screens, laptops, I-Pads, etc)
  • Alkaline Battery Collection (up to 9 volt)
  • Bike Station – bike recycling and basic bike check
  • Fleet Feet – gather and repurpose used athletic shoes
  • Plastic bag collection (SWACO)
  • Medical Center Green Team table and Sustainability game
  • Lions Club Drop off box for used eyeglasses.
