Javaune, or Dr. J, as she is affectionately called, oversees the operations of the Office of Student Life and its constituent departments. She has broad leadership responsibility for numerous university operations affecting students outside the classroom, including residence halls, food service, the Ohio Union and student activities, student leadership development, mental health counseling, career direction, recreational sports, health care and wellness programs, disability services, the Multicultural Center, off-campus student services, the student judicial process, and student advocacy and crisis intervention. She represents Student Life in the university's senior administration and provides leadership on issues affecting students.

Javaune came to Ohio State in January 2009 as Vice President for Student Life from the University of Maryland, where she had served in a variety of administrative and faculty positions since 1985. Her experience included serving as associate dean of academic affairs, assistant athletic director, and equity administrator. A licensed psychologist, she also was a member of the graduate faculty at Maryland.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2009 Diamond Honoree Award from the ACPA-College Student Educators, the highest honor of the America College Personnel Association, which recognized her transformative contributions to the field. The award cited her relationally centered approach, commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Javaune has a bachelor's degree in biology, psychology and general science and a master's degree in applied psychology, and she also earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Iowa State University.

D'Andra serves as the Chief of Staff and Director for Strategic Partnerships in the Office of the Vice President for Student Life. In her role as Chief of Staff, she offers assistance and expertise in special projects and assignments, oversees the operations of the Vice President for Student Life's office, and serves as liaison for the Vice President and Student Life with university administrative offices and external and internal constituents. As Director for Strategic Partnerships, D'Andra provides administrative leadership for the university-wide Buckeye Careers initiative, Student Life’s Assistantship Program and Grad Pad, the Council on Student Affairs (a Committee of University Senate), the Mentorship Initiative for Student Life, Buckeye INClusion, and Stories for Students. D’Andra also serves on the graduate faculty as an adjunct assistant professor in the School of Educational Policy and Leadership's Higher Education and Student Affairs Program, and is the Office of Student Life's director for the Student Personnel Assistantship Program associated with that graduate course of study. She holds a B.A. in political science and criminal justice studies from Kent State University, an M.A. in higher, adult and lifelong education from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in higher education from Ohio State. D’Andra has held student life positions for 12 years, at Kent State, Michigan State, and since 2004, at Ohio State.

Davida provides intellectual, multidisciplinary, and administrative leadership for the Multicultural Center.  This includes assessing student needs and developing policies, objectives, programs, and services to meet them; administering daily operations; and creating program and service partnerships with students, faculty, administrators, and community groups.  Davida earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Johnson C. Smith University, and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Higher Education from Ohio State.  She joined the Student Life staff in 2011 after having served as director of multicultural affairs at Capital University.  She had also served in several teaching, staff, and graduate assistant capacities at Ohio State since 2003.

Lance leads outcomes-based assessment activities for the Office of Student Life. He conducts research on all aspects of the student experience at Ohio State. Lance earned B.A. in sociology from Eastern Illinois University, and holds a master's degree in student affairs administration and a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before coming to Ohio State, Lance spent six years working in institutional research at DePaul University and the University of Florida. He joined Ohio State and Student Life in June 2008.

Doug Koyle

Doug coordinates strategic planning for the Office of Student Life and assists with program reviews for individual departments. He oversees student health insurance and manages projects for Student Life central administration. He received both a B.A. and M.A. in music theory from Ohio State. He has worked in Student Life at Ohio State since 1987.

Andrea Goldblum

Andrea leads the Department of Student Conduct, which supports Ohio State's educational mission by administering the Code of Student Conduct and serving as a resource to the University community and beyond. She has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Miami and a master's degree in higher education administration from the University of Michigan. Andrea has been at Ohio State since 2005, and during 20 years of prior experience at other universities has had experience in university housing and residence life, academic integrity, Greek life, and advising honor societies, and has been an assistant dean of students.

Diane Plumly

Diane oversees Ohio State's insurance programs to ensure students have affordable options available to access quality healthcare providers. She and her team work closely with students and their families, university departments and insurance plan administrators to create a seamless experience from enrollment management to claims payment. The Student Health Insurance office offers both comprehensive coverage for students and their dependents and a supplemental program called Wilce Care for students who have major medical coverage through their parent's plans or other sources. Diane is a member of several national groups representing university student medical insurance and a nationally recognized expert on the subject. She holds a B.S in Allied Medical Professions, and a M. A. in Public Administration from Ohio State . She has been a staff member since 1983, having served in several capacities including associate director of Student Health Services before being named director of Student Health Insurance in 2008.

Kellie coordinates the marketing efforts across Student Life departments to increase awareness of services, programs, activities, events and facilities. She provides support and consultation services for development and implementation of marketing strategies. Kellie earned a B.S. in business administration from Ohio State. Before joining the Student Life staff in 2008, she was director of marketing and branding for The Columbus Dispatch.
