Tracy, in her role as Assistant Vice President, serves on the executive leadership team for the Office of Student Life. Her focus and areas of expertise include advancement, programming, and student development. Tracy received her BA in education at Westminster College and her MA in counseling and educational psychology at Slippery Rock University. She has been at Ohio State since 1994 and overseen various departments throughout student life and projects such as building the new Ohio Union, Greek life task force and the Student Activity fee.

Jen Cottrell

Jen leads marketing operations for the Office of Student Life ensuring alignment with university and Student Life values, strategic areas of focus, branding and visual identity. Jen earned her BA in interpersonal communications from Bowling Green State University. She joined the Office of Student Life as an Assistant Director of Marketing in 2008. Prior to coming to Ohio State, Jen worked in The Columbus Dispatch events and advertising divisions.

Patricia Cunningham, PhD

Dr. Patricia F.R. Cunningham II is a three-time graduate of Ohio State University, having received her BA in Women's Studies (with a minor in Black Studies); a MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs; and, a doctoral degree in Cultural Foundations. She oversees a number of community outreach programs, including Buckeye Civic Engagement Connection that involves projects in different neighborhoods in Columbus that have a high poverty rate, and the BuckeyeREACH program that connects students to mentors in youth prison facilities. She also teaches interdisciplinary courses on the subjects of poverty, race, gender, civic engagement and leadership.

Kurtis Foriska

Kurt works to gain support for Student Life programs and services through fundraising efforts. He is also responsible for the oversight of Sorority and Fraternity Life. Kurt began his career at Ohio State in 2003 as coordinator of Sorority and Fraternity Life, and has held various positions in Student Activities, the Ohio Union, and Recreational Sports. He holds a BS in biology from Allegheny College, an MA in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University, and an MBA from Ohio State.

Sharrell Hassell-Goodman

Sharrell is the lead staff member serving our sorority and fraternity community, working to set the vision and goals for our community. With her direction, Greek Life focuses on governing council advisement, academic success, recruitment, leadership development, risk management and community wide programming efforts. Sharrell is a graduate of Miami University, earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's of education degree in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development and a master's degree in College Student Personnel. Prior to coming to Ohio State, Sharrell served as an academic advisor, residence hall director and a teacher.

Ryan W. Lovell

As director of programming in the university's Office of Parent and Family Relations, Ryan assists in coordinating programs, services, and communications specifically for parents and families of Ohio State students. These include the annual Parent & Family Weekend in the fall and Sibs and Kids Weekend in the spring, and a regular e-mail message with campus updates, important deadlines, and other pertinent information. He also oversees alumni society relations for a number of Student Life departments. Ryan earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from West Chester University, and his master's degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. He has been at Ohio State since 2007, and previously held student life positions at Hartwick College and Lehigh University.

Edward Pauline

Edward is responsible for the creation and implementation of the Buckeye Leadership Fellows Program, a privately funded leadership development program specifically designed for upperclassmen. Prior to coming to Ohio State, he worked in the digital media industry for startups and large media corporations primarily in Seattle and New York, including,, Fantasy Sports Ventures and most recently,, where he was director of North American sales. He holds both a BA and BS from Ohio State and an MBA from Franklin University and has been a member of the Ohio State staff since 2010.
