Time: Saturday, March 01, 2014 11:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Location: Ohio Union

The Annual Conference on Leadership and Civic Engagement is a one-day, free conference for Ohio State students. The conference is made possible through the Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership and Service, which is part of the Office of Student Life.

The foundation of the conference is the Gallup Organization's StrengthsQuest assessment and theory of Strengths Based Leadership. The conference provides students with a beginner, intermediate, or advanced Strengths workshop, depending on their individual experience with Strengths. In addition, participants are able to choose from a variety of educational workshops and presentations by Ohio State faculty and staff and Columbus community members. Participants also have the opportunity to connect with each other through small group discussions and team-building activities led by the Student Leadership Advocates and the Pay It Forward committee.
