Based on Joseph Pilates's philosophy of the body and movement, this class teaches the foundation of Pilates exercises. Learn breathing, shoulder stability, pelvic positioning, spinal elongation, and basic mat work exercises. Variations and modification of exercises will be provided. Benefits of Pilates work include improved posture, balance, flexibility, range of motion, and neuromuscular function increased lung capacity, body awareness, stronger core muscles, and more! Sticky mats provided, or feel free to bring your own.
