Woody once said, "nobody could win football games unless they regarded the game positively and would agree to pay the price that success demands of a team." With this coaching philosophy, Woody inspired his team to be resilient and win games. Students have the opportunity to learn about resilience Monday, February 11 as journalist Alina Tugend, author of Better By Mistakes, shares her stories of resilience in the RPAC Meeting Rooms from 5 - 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available and attendees will be eligible to win gift cards for smoothies at Juice2. All are welcome to attend.
Join the Office of Student Life in celebrating the legacy of Anne and Woody Hayes this February, which marks 100 years since Woody’s birth on February 14, 1913. From their everyday life to gridiron triumphs, the week will focus on the stories, traditions, and contributions of two people whose influence on Buckeye Nation remains strong to this day.
