At the Flag Football Championship, students will get the chance to play flag football in the shadow of the Ohio Stadium, where Woody coached many legendary games. Ohio State was not the only team to call Woody 'coach,' he also coached at Denison and Miami University. On Sunday, February 10 students from all three schools are invited to play in a flag football championship. All participants will get to play at least two games and will receive a t-shirt. The champions will receive a trophy. To register your team, email Larcus.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join the Office of Student Life in celebrating the legacy of Anne and Woody Hayes this February, which marks 100 years since Woody’s birth on February 14, 1913. Anne & Woody Hayes Celebration Week will feature events and activities honoring one of Ohio State’s most-loved couples. From their everyday life to gridiron triumphs, the week will focus on the stories, traditions, and contributions of two people whose influence on Buckeye Nation remains strong to this day.
