Introduction to Transgender Identities Lunch & Learn

As the visibility and activism of transgender and gender-variant students has grown, many higher education and other professionals serving youth and young adults are seeking to increase their understanding of basic issues related to the transgender experience.  Join the Multicultural Center on November 19 at Noon in the Ohio Union Barbie Tootle Room for an important and insightful discussion about gender identity and expression.

What does it mean to be transgender? What is intersex? And why do we care? This workshop will discuss the experience of being transgender and how to be an ally to transgender and gender variant people. We will cover issues related to identity, coming out, physical and mental health, and access to care. Join us to learn about gender identity and expression in our community.

This workshop is open to all. This is a brown bag luncheon event. We look forward to seeing you there!
