Mortar Board Presents: The Last Lecture Series

Time: Wednesday, January 30, 2013 7:00 PM

Location: Hitchcock Hall Room 031

Mortar Board Senior Class Honor Society is pleased to present OSU's first ever Last Lecture Series. The concept was made famous by Randy Pausch, a professor at Carnegie Mellon, who sought to deliver his last lecture entitled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" upon being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Mortar Board is bringing this insightful concept to the Buckeye community with four influential OSU faculty members: Dr. Javaune Adams-Gaston, Dr. Matthew Stoltzfus, Dr. Linn Dwayne Van Woerkom, and Dr. Michael A. Caligiuri. They will each deliver a short lecture, sharing with students what they would say if this were their last lecture ever.

Dr. Javaune Adams-Gaston, Vice President for Student Life, will be kicking off the series on Wednesday, January 30 at 7pm in Hitchcock Hall, Room 031.
