The Ultrasound Education program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine is quickly becoming one of the premiere programs in the nation. This year's Ultrasound Olympics promises to be bigger and better than ever. The Ultrasound Olympics is a day-long extravaganza in which participants exhibit their procedural skills in six events in order to demonstrate what they have learned within our program. With the help of the student organization infrastructure at Ohio State, we plan to bring in national experts in Ultrasound to participate as guest judges and speakers. We also hope to involve the entire Ohio State community (with a focus on pre-medical undergraduate students) by inviting these individuals to the College of Medicine to listen to speakers and mingle with current medical students, residents, and physicians. In addition, we intend to host a panel directed toward pre-medical students in order to answer any questions about medical education and medical school admission.
